Some think that you need to score big in the beginning in order to have a chance while the others prefer waiting, noticing how some play and then adjust their strategy based on the players that they meet. No matter what type of strategy you want to use, the truth is that a winning okey strategy is mainly focused on your ability to stay focused and make predictions. You either take a card and dismiss another without aiding you the least bit or you change the sets that you are focused on. If possible, keep cards that can form either a set or a run so that your chances of gaining a good combination are higher.

Attention is the key to building a good, winning okey strategy. You need to look at what others are doing and mix plays from time to time. If you are unpredictable you can win easier as you might end up gaining the tiles that you need.
